2023 is the 40th anniversary of G-SHOCK.
40 years have passed since the first G-SHOCK DW-5000C was released. It is expected that many 40th anniversary models will be released this year .
A 40th anniversary logo was also announced.
It is cool! This logo will be engraved on the box and the back cover of the commemorative model.
The four star marks represent the 40th anniversary .
By the way, the 35th anniversary commemorative logo was like this.
The top three star marks were 30, and the bottom five star marks were 5, indicating the 35th anniversary.
A model with a special model number”DW-5635″ engraved with this logo has also been released. The 35th anniversary logo was engraved on the back.

Square G-SHOCK released in January 2023

First of all, here is the 40th anniversary model.
After all it was a model number of 5640 ! It was expected but I’m so happy.
This is a model of the “Adventurer’s Stone” series with ore motifs .
It is a standard lineup of the familiar “5600 series square type”, “2100 series analog” and the world popular ” 110 series” .
Casio’s specialty is IP (ion plating) processing and the surface shines like real ore.
