Actually, there are some models of G-SHOCK that have not been released in Japan .

One of them is DW-5300 .

Although the bezel is flat, it has eight characteristic biz-like patterns and four grooves which makes it look like a G-SHOCK at first glance.

However, this W-218H has not been released in Japan at the moment .

Since the DW-5300 has not been released in Japan, there are few people who have a strong feeling for it, so it may not have been released in Japan.

So it may be a judgment that it is not necessary to take measures against counterfeiting until it is released at a low price in Japan.

It takes some ingenuity to attach a G-SHOCK band

With G-SHOCK so far, it’s a shame about that’s band.

The band is thin and unreliable.

How to attach

What you need to prepare is a “durable rubber tube” .

It is a rubber tube like this. Cut this into about 1 mm and prepare four .

You don’t have to worry about the cleanliness of the cut surface, you can’t see it very much.

The design is a little strange. But the usability is good.

You may hear that some people say why they bother to buy a high-priced G-SHOCK (in this case, buy the GW-B5600BC) and attach a cheap body. But that’s what I’m particular about.

This method costs money which you need to buy two watches. And it looks a little strange, so I don’t recommend it to everyone.
